10 day post op – one boob bigger than the other? Started by: mill

    Hi girls

    I’m 10 days post op now. I saw the nurse on Saturday. I had bandages taken off and was told I was healing well, everything looked fine and all the swelling had gone! Today I’ve noticed that my left boob looks bigger than the right! Has anyone else experienced this? Is just part of the healing process and they’ll eventually even out? I’m feeling so upset, I can’t look at them as I just feel horrible! X

    Don’t worry, hun. If you were similar size to start with and have the same sized implants on both sides, you will end up similar in the end. It’s just swelling and can take up to 2 months to go away. And both sides heal and settle at different rates, so it’s normal to be different on both sides initially. It’s early days and you’ll be fine.

    yeah your meant to treat each boob as a separate operation as they can heal at different rates, if youve just had your bandages off then that means your boobs can start to drop now as there not restricted, ones prob just ready a few days before the other. id try not to worry xxx

    Hey thanks girls! I think I’ve been driving my family mad about it today! I think I was expecting great boobs straight away for some reason and I’ve got to learn to be patient x
