    My right incision is hurting, is this normal? I’ve not felt anything before as they’ve been numb…maybe it’s just feeling coming back? Anyone had this? When steri strips were put on on thurs there were no probs n the incision had closed, dno if im just being paranoid coz I feel something lol xxx

    Sorry to hear that Hun, I am 10 days too and mine are still too numb. What kind of pain is it? Have you been putting anything in it? Are you wearing a bra? Have you had a fitting yet?

    I had a fitting on Friday and I was wearing totally the wrong size bra!! I had a 34c when I should have had a 32 DD!!

    When I took my bra off I realised I felt so much better my breasts had felt so crammed into bra – now that was a new feeling!!!

    Are we meant to take those strips off today? Maybe it is worth taking a peek at it. Also I have bought some savlon spray wash, I feel reluctant to use it just yet….did anyone else use this?

    Hey boobie buddy :) I was wondering about my bra…I had my macom on but washed it yday n had a 32c asda one on, boobs filled it nicely but it was super tight elsewhere n didn’t feel right, I dunno if it’s worth going to get measured too, where did u go? I’ve never had a bra prob before, just 32a bras with chicken fillets haha.

    I’ve not been near my boobs lol, not even with cream! Im not prone to stretch marks but I think today I’ll moisturise them after my shower, n not putting anything on scars til after 6 weeks. I’ve not showered since the other day, but think I will today n was told to take the strips off tomorrow, were u told today? I’ve got johnsons baby wash.

    I’m not sure I can describe the pain…kind of like a stinging that comes n goes. How r u feeling? Back to normal yet? How’s ur arm movement? Hope ur healing well :) xxx

    Thanks darling I’m doing well, I had some odd squelchy sounds a few days ago but gone now. The arm movement is about 80% back, I just can’t reach too high above my head. Can’t wait to have a second look at the scars. Yesterday was an odd day, I went out for an hour to the shops and wore my 34c Royce and it just felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. The moment I did the bra undone I was fine but ached from the bad fitting. I couldn’t believe how silly I had been for not noticing it sooner. Then I realised that for the first time in my life I was actually wearing a bra that was too small! Damn annoying as it cost £34!!! So yes it could have been the bra rubbing on the incision that caused the pain.

    But a stinging pain sounds more like a natural healing pain. I have had a couple of those – I’m wearing myAsda bra today and will report back! I went to John Lewis to be measured and they use the same measuring standard as Rigby And Peller. I bought two lovely Sloggi bras £12 each and so comfy to sleep in.

    I’ve been showering with Weleda Rose wash or Cowshed products no chemicals, try to stay away from any washes with chemicals

    especially SLS. These products are more pricey but then so was our ops!! I wasn’t told anything about taking strips off, I’ll call my PC tomorrow.

    Definitely think you should go for a fitting, just ask for a ‘post op’ fitting. There are regular fittings or three types of different fittings. I had to book my fitting in – so best to call before hand. I was so pleased when the lady said they looked v natural – it made my day!! :D

    Aw yay! So pleased for you! Have they started dropping yet? My left one is and now I look very lip sided haha. R u pleased with the size? What were u before? I’m starting to worry I’m not gna be a C…I wish the fluffing fairy would visit! X

    Yes like you, the left one is starting to drop. Yesterday it felt much softer than the right, I even felt a little bit of bounce as I walked down the stairs!! This morning they are both rock hard again! Lol.

    I am pleased with the size, I was a 32 A before and I like the way with clothes on I don’t look any bigger ( I use to wear big padded bras). So when i go back to work on Friday hopefully no-one will notice. I love the way they make me feel, I use to have a real blockage in relationships where i wouldn’t tske my clothes off even after months of dating!! I found myself acting ultra feminine in order to make up for my lack of curves, now I can be truly me – a bit of a Tom boy too! I love the fact on my next holiday I will wear a bikini etc and my big bum looks more balanced.

    I think the fluffing out started around Saturday, but hard to say as each day the breasts feel different, even throughout the day they

    change. Let me know when that fluffing fairy arrives….it’s nice to follow someone at the exact same stage!

    How are those pains today?

    Hiya, I’m sure the pains are normal I had them in my right incision about 1 week po and when I had the dressing off the nurse said it was closed and everyone was fine but 2days later it opend a little.. But I am right handed so doing everything with that arm could have caused it, so if you are right handed that’s maybe why its hurting more then the other? X
