    I had a cold/flu before Christmas and since then have had a dry throat and tickly cough but only at night and first thing in the morning. Otherwise i feel totally fine, no aching or temp, no nose blowing or anything. Any advice on getting rid of this last bit of cold. Can’t afford for them to say I have to postpone as my parents have flown over from Greece to help with kids, hubby has a week booked off work and I have a business that’s been put on hold for the op!

    I had the last bit of a cold on the day of my op just didnt say out coz i knew i was fine. x

    Hi ros1705, I had a nasty cold/virus over xmas and New Year. Almost managed to shake it off, but still have a bit of a sore throat & blocked nose. My BA is Monday and I had my pre op this week and nurse said not to worry at all. They won’t need to postphone if you have the dreg ends of a cold..hope that helps.

    Thank you both, was starting to worry, especially as it’s not really anything, just got to stay healthy now!!

    Good luck to you too hunny. Don’t worry you’ll be fine. I forgot to say, I found drinking beroccas helped me perk up..XX
