11days post op is it normal for no tape n no plasters scars healed and exposed

hey girlies ive been told my waterproof [plasters can come off had my week check last week and all scars are healed nicely !

im worried as base of my bra is sitting on the scar’s in my head im thinking are they going to open from rubbing of bra i know it wont but its in my head !

anyone think this and covered them again

or am i fine !

i am 13 days post op today from uplift and implant and my surgeon just removed all my dressings and told me to shower and use bio oil..i have a macom bar and it is not tight around the bottom so no rubbing..maybe change the sports bra to one that doesnt rub xx

I deffo don’t think they will be fully healed yet Hun but will deffo b on the way, as u arnt allowed to use any products on scars untill 6 weeks post op (guessing this id wen they r FULLY healed) might b wrong,I’d be really weary, I have to keep mine covered for 14 days xx

hi i had my post op check today and had all tapes removed but nurse decided to stick surgical tape back over scars for more protection. i did actually have a macom bra but it didnt fit so i went to marks and spencers and got fitted for a sports bra and the assistant suggested i go for a bigger size band so it didnt rub on my scars and it really helps x

Hey girls…….panic over! I took my strapping off day 4, nurse re dressed and put more plasters over incisions on day 7, day 11 nurse took off plasters and was told I could shower and just let the water run over my chest!!So basically i was strapping, plaster free by day 11!!x
