well girls i am finally part of the booby club:)
my admission time was 10am at park hill hospital in Doncaster, my friend came and picked me up at about9 so we had enough time to park etc! got into park hill about half9, they took me straight to my room:) room 12! the bed was the comfiest thing ever lol, and there was a set of molton brown goodies for me to take home which i thought was a nice touch!
the nurse came and admitted me about quater to 10, did my blood pressure and things, gave me my gown and sexy knickers, then at quater past 10 the man himself came in, consented me did his drawings, then the anethetist came in at half 10. then it was quater to 11 and they came for me!! and thats when it sunk in, oh shit, its actually happening!!! ive wanted this for 6 years and im finally having it done!!!
so i went in to the anathestic room, and had the cannula and he told me it would be the best night out ill ever have hha and the next thing i remember is coming round in recovery, i took my mask off and had a feel of my babies and got told of by the recovery nurse, but i just couldnt help myself lol! then i remember asking if my mum had come yet( im such a baby lol) and they wheeled me back to my room and i slept for a couple of hours.
now i really badly reacted to the anasthetic, i was constantly sick the whole time i was there, i didnt wee for 10 hours and was seriously dehydrated, they were going to keep me in:( but i just knew i needed me own bed lol. so they said they would give me another couple of hours to see how i did, so i had a word with myself and got walking around and felt a bit better so they took my drains out and let me go home. the car journey home was a bloody nightmare, got home and threw up everywhere, but then went to bed slept all night, and now no more sick and ive ate like a horse today hahaah!!
i cant stop touching them today, and the pain isnt that bad, just like a dull ache but its copable, and i would 100% go through all the sickness again because i cant stop looking and touching them:) im so happy,all my friends are jealous and its only been the first day haha!
so girls, thought i would do my story as its helped me when i was deciding on wether to go through with it! totally worth it…and thanks again to everyone on here whos helped and supported me:) xxxx
