The list is from the boobie bible honey,its just a guide,dont be nervous honey,this will be the best experience of your life,I did use a shower gel the day of my op,it was the simple one,I was then advised post op to have shallow baths for 2 weeks until I could shower,making sure I did not get my dressings wet,I used the simple shower gel,on a sponge in the bath,but not on my breasts,when I could have a shower,I did’nt use any products on my breasts,until about the 4 weeks post op,I just let clean water trickle over them to clean them,the scar strips came of with the water,so I just patted dry with a clean soft towel then completely dried the incisions with the hair dryer on a cool setting before applying new scar strips,to be honest the first shower was scary I was so scared it would sting but it was fine.Re the Dermatix scar strips this is your preference,and would advise not to use until you have the all clear from your surgeon,your incisions need to fully closed before you apply the Dermatix strips,the nurse should give you some breathable scar strips if you ask her,and want to cover your scars a little longer, alternatively you can but them online.xxx
