Hi mrsshaw, welcome to the forum. I think it’s just a 10yr guarantee more than you having to have them done every 10 years. I got told by my surgeon that depending on your age you would probably need them done twice in a lifetime. You can pay more to have another implant which is a lifetime guarantee so shorely people wouldn’t pay more if they had to have them changed every 10 years? My pc has had hers in for nearly 15 years and said they don’t need changing. I think the majority of people on this forum that has had it done more than once is purely because they wanted to go larger. Sorry I can’t be anymore help x

I think with the advances that have been made in recent years you’ll be fine having your implants in for 20 plus years. I would recommend getting the inspira range as they come with a lifetime guarantee and also have a lower rate of rupture and capsular contraction. Getting the inspira reaponsives they cost afew hundred more but I think it’s worth it xx

thanks guys iam hopeing i wont need them doing more than twice its not the money just dont want to be doing it alot.

but its true it worth paying a bit more i think i will look into that thanks.

its just i dont know many people who have had this done, and on the forums you usually see people changing them after a few years due to rupture or they want to go bigger 😆 .

but thank you for your replys xxxx :-)
