hey lexie, when i left the hospital after my op i wasnt in pain but the nurse told me to still take the full course of pain killers…she said that even though your not in much pain they will still help so you will be able to move around more and it will help with your healing. I just finished all my pills today was over taking them all the time..

P.s i took mine every 6hrs with the other ones and only took 1 codeine tablet instead of two

Hey, I have had no pain after my uplift and BA. I stopped taking the painkillers after about 2 days as was only taking 1 every 6 hours anyway. I just took ibuprofen then purely for the anti-inflammatory effects. I even went to gym 3 days post op and just walked on incline for an hour. Felt fine. Only thing really suffered from was feeling absolutely shattered all the time – but think that was daytime TV!

If you dont need them, dont take them. Just made me feel spaced out! Glad you healing well. I’m 12 days Post Op and feel 100%
