… I’m in so much pain! I had 445&495 trx high profile unders on Saturday from an empty 34c :(

I know I’ve heard that unders are alot more painful etc, but I wasn’t feeling this way on Sunday! On Sunday I was happily able to brush my hair and get changed into my Pjs! Got home last night and sleeping was traumatic. I kept slipping down in my bed and it was such a struggle to get back upright again. I’ve even considered asking the mother to buy me an armchair to sleep in. I really don’t feel like my meds are working either, just making me look about 6 months pregnant! It’s awful!

But… On the plus side – I love my new boobs (as hard as they are lol) but really want this pain to go away!

Any of you ladies got any advice on what I can do/take etc? I’ve got my v pillow (godsend) and sleeping with cold compress across the top..

oh hunny its horrible isnt it, but it does get better, i was like you the pain really kicked in on day 2 its becouse the internal bruising is coming out, i started to feel better by day 5.

the only advice i can give is make sure you keep taking your meds every few hours and keep as active as possible, even if its just waliking around the house/garden to stop you from getting too stiff.

i found putting a pillow under my bum and heels helped and keep everything ull need right next too you.

it does get easier hun just bear with it, i said never again when i had mine done but id go through it all again if i had too.

    take care hunny xxx

Thank you ladies! I’ve been sleeping with a pillow under my knees, still got my socks on too! I may have to call up the hospital and ask if I can have something stronger. It just feels like every slight movement is pulling on my incisions :( and I’ve had to loosen my bra loads cos it feels tight on my incisions too and really despising this breast band! Feel like my lungs are kissing each other! Lol x

Hey Gabby day one and two were pure torture for me too. However, day 3 is here and I can honestly say, although I don’t feel great, the difference is amazing. I could sit up on my own this morning, bit of a struggle but hey ho! It will get easier hour by hour, just keep resting.

I think the cocodamol are bad for constipation too. I’ve not been since op but have cut down on the painkillers so fingers crossed. Just think how lovely you’re gonna feel in a weeks time! Hugs to you xx

Also I don’t think you need the bra with the bandages as the bandage acts as a bra. Much more comfy without x

Hey Kelly, I woke up with the breast band and a bra on. I’m not bandaged up tho, if that makes sense? Although I’m in discomfort, I’m still finding myself absent mindedly knocking them when I move my arms :/

    Menu

Oh and I’ve been told I’ve got to wear the band for 3 weeks 24/7 and the bra for 2 months 24/7! Both of which I don’t mind, just despise the achey discomfort atm!

    Menu

Aw sweetie that’s a long time. How come? I think I get my band off after a week? It’s so hard as a woman, but please try and make the most of being looked after and proper resting. The more you do, the quicker you’ll heal. And the more you rest, the less you’ll knock them! Really feel for you xx

I’ve no idea why so long, but that was the info that was left on my notes :/ I’m trying not to do too much, but I hate feeling useless and asking other people to do things for me. Defo need a butt massage at the moment tho! Ouch! Xx

Haha I know the feeling. My hubby has been running round like an idiot for meanwhile I’m sat like a useless lump! It’s so hard when you’re the one used to doing everything isn’t it? Don’t worry though it seriously won’t be for long xx

Posts like this scare me lol :( ur all lucky ur at that healing stage tho n it can only get better :) lots of rest + healthy eating! Make the most of being LAZY xxx

    Menu

Sorry ayshababy I don’t mean to scare you. I have a very high pain fresh hold and can normally “man up” to things but it’s been more discomfort than anything else. However, I found that once I got out of my bed and started moving around a bit I was ok, plus taking my painkillers regularly instead of waiting for it to kick in! :)

I’m in more pain mentally that I’m not playing my sports :( giving myself till the new year to get back into it properly! X

oh hun, i know you can feel really down in the first week because of how frustrating it can be without being able to move around much without feeling like you are doing damage.

I had to wear the breast band for 2 weeks too. Pain in the bum!!

Yeah, call up and find out about getting stronger pain killers if the ones they gave you arent doing anything for you. I took mine like clockwork and luckily didnt have any constant pain, more shooting pains etc.

They say that days 2-3 are the worst for pain but it will pass. :)

Im day 14 now and wouldnt have believed i would have felt this good if you had asked me 10 days ago lol

chin up chick, it will all be worth it when you have beautiful (pain free) boobies :)

I feel your pain chick! I had 460 unders (bigg’ns like you, under the muscle) and was in a lot of pain til day 4…I took painkillers until day 7.

Glad youve got your V-pillow, it was a god-send for me too..and keep on top of your meds. Do keep moving about, I wasnt very mobile at first, I was tense and found it made my shoulders and arms ache which added to the pain.

It DOES get better chick, stick in there and keep your chin up..I promise you its worth it xx

Also, I have a theory..you mentioned your into sports etc..Im really active too, pre-op I did a lot of upper body exercises etc and had good chest muscles, working out right up untll the day before my op.

I read somewhere online that if you have thick pecs it can hurt more, more tissue, harsher incisions = more pain I guess. It might be complete crap (!) but it was true for me, defo x
