Hi. Well I was at Highgate so can only tell you about there. I arrived and filled in some more paperwork. After a short wait ( my book in time was 7.30am) I got taken to my room. It was pleasant. Got shown everything and how to use things like the bed andcall button. There was a big safe in my wardrobe which was great. Then the nurse came in took my blood pressure had a chat with me and measured me for my socks. Gave me a pregnancy test. Told her I didnt need one as Id had a hysterectomy 6 yrs ago, but she still did it. bless.
Then she came back with my paper knickers and surgical socks. Lovely. Then I waited for a while and my surgeon came in. Marked me up, chatted. Thn the anethatist came in and chatted. I didnt go down til 10.45. I was so nervouse, but excited. Everytime a shadow went past my door I thought oh god this is it.lol I walked down to theartre and they were lovely. Small prick in the back of my hand. a laugh and joke then. gone. I woke up in recovery with boobs.lol Its normal to feel nervouse and excited. Im excited for you. Good luck.
