I will be 2 weeks post-op for Vaser tomorrow. Whilst there isn’t anything stopping you from going on holiday, I know personally I would be dreading going away this weekend if I was.I still have quite a bit of bruising and swelling, plus still feel a little ‘vulnerable’ around Vaser areas.
I think it will depend on two things
1) What your recovery garments are like
2) Where you are going and what you are planning on doing.
What have you been advised to wear after? Do you just have the compression garments, or do you have the dreaded 4D vest as well? I have the 4D vest for 4 weeks, so am trying to avoid as much contact with the outside world as possible! If you just have the compression garments then I think you would probably be OK, but be aware that they will come down to nearly your knees, and (I’m not totally sure, because I didn’t have arms) it may be down to your elbows too. The compression garment is perfectly comfortable as its just like stronger Spanx, but they certainly aren’t miniskirt and vest top / bikini compatible!
