2 weeks post op! Can I bath? Started by: Cutiepie

you have to wait to have the all clear at your 6 weeks post opp before you can soak in the bath hun xx

I had my check up early at 4 weeks with the surgeon had a full bath at just under 5 weeks every surgeon will advise different babe x x x

I had a proper soak in the bath at 10days PO.

Had my 1wk PO check with the nurse and had stitches out – she put steri strips on which she told me to keep on for 3days, then said I could have a proper bath after day 10 and pull the steri strips off

It was the best bath ever!!!!!! lol

I was getting proper bath’s at 1 wk post-op my scars were healing really well by that stage and the nurse said I could have a full shower at 1 week, I don’t soak my scars for a while only a couple of minutes to clean them! And not rubbing them with towel I am still drying them with hairdryer on a cool setting and am 5 wks post-op xx
