I am a student nurse who is about to go on placement, I have got 2 weeks off in August which is when I am planning to have my BA, do you think this is long enough to recover before I go back into placement? I am just worried that its 12 hour shifts and I will be rushed off my feet xx

Hi personally I think ul b fine with light duties. U certainly won’t b able to lift anything tho. I’ve a 14mth old I didn’t attempt to lift him till aft 9 days n then it was only when I had no choice. It did get easier n now 26days po I can’t lift him fine with no problems at all x

Sophie, do you know if you are having overs or unders?

Which uni are you at? Is 2 weeks the most you get off? It may be best to wait until you have time off and then lectures after instead of placement, especially if you have unders

Thanks for the replies gilrs! Belle – I am at Coventry Uni, I am off for a month in June but I am unable to have it then due to money! I am having 565 overs, not with Mya but with another surgeon on Birmingham. Hopefully I will be ok, I am going to be on a surgical ward so not sure how intense it will be xxx
