20 MONTHS POST OP AND NO RECORD OF MY SURGERY!! LOST NOTES!!! Started by: nadzm89

    Hey guys…Dr. Chantarasak was my surgeon. I am 20months post op and there is no record of me EVER having surgery!! They lost all my notes after my three motnh check up. My aftercare apt were in Bristol and I ended up having my 6month check up 12months after my op, i had calls cancelled and emails unresponded!!! There have been a few issues with my breasts that i wanted to discuss with the surgeon and he asked me “have we ever seen you before”!! He was my surgeon so I was mortified. Turns out they had moved venues lost my notes in the process so no one could tell me anything about my surgery and still to this day i have no clue!!!!! 2 of my friends were going to have their BS at MYA but after seein the way they treated me they decided against it!! I want everyone to be careful!! I went with MYA for the aftercare they promised and they didnt deliver…i have been mis sold it and after spending thousands of pounds feel at least an apology or something to show they are sorry but I get no response!!! If you went into hospital and had surgery and they lost your notes there would be uproar so what is the difference here??!! EVERYONE JUST BE CAREFUL AND IF YOU DECIDE TO GO FOR IT PLEASE PLEASE CHECK YOUR AFTERCARE POLICY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    nadzm89, I can imagine how angry and upset you must be. I know Mr Chantarasak works for other cosmetic companies as well as mya and the surgeons perform 1000’s of surgerys every year. Whilst its not acceptable that your notes have gone missing, I would think that its Mya who would look after the notes they need to look into it. If there is a problem we go through Mya first etc. Hope u get it sorted hun x

    I would like to think this hasnt happened to anyone else etc.

    Hi hun i would of never gone with mya the only good thong about mya is this fourm they are usseless going back 5 months ago mya was the first company i approched they badgered me to death trying to get me to pay up front in the end i went with transform and im 1week po tomorrow and so happy

    Hi lulup20, yes it definitely is a fault of MYA but they dont take any responsibility for it, infact they dont do anything!! No response what so EVER. I need to know whether something was done differently to my one breast during surgery and no one can tell me the answer!! It’s been 20months and I’ve had two aftercare apt that went well and one that was hurendous!!! I really hope it hasnt happened to anyone else but if it has please let me know!!

    hey heather119….Yes they did the same to me but the aftercrae they promised was amazing and the patient coordinator at the time was lovely….i realised this was because i was paying up front….after they got my money they didnt want to know, i know someone who has paid on MYA finance and she has been treated fine…obviously they still want to get the payments from her….for me they couldnt care less!!! Very disappointing. I’m ready to take this further now though as i still cant get a response from them!!!!
