Has anyone else heard about this? Apparently the government are putting a 20% VAT increase on cosmetic surgery:

I know, I don’t think they’ve thought it through properly. Whilst many people don’t need surgery for ‘medical’ reasons, the way they feel about the way they look can really affect a person psychologically, affecting their confidence and even the way they live their lives. Surely mental health is just as important as physical health. If they go ahead with this tax more people are going to go abroad and when complications occur then the nhs will pay!

Total Liberty! I am very upset about this… obviously that have got wind of the fact that it is becoming more popular and are attempting to make a fast buck… what next 20% increase on hair extensions and gel nails!?? Ridiculous!!! xx
