21st August – Mr Fallahdar – Highgate Hospital

Hey Girls!

I’m excited, nervous, anxious, and ecstatic to be booked for my BA…

Has anyone else had MR Fallahdar before? He seems really professional and realistic, however do you normally see more than one surgeon? Do you get to choose? I felt comfortable with him so happy…

Anyone else booked on the 21st for London Highgate?

He was nice, I think I annoyed him at one point when deciding my size…

I actually said to him “if I was your friend – what would you advise me to go for”. He replied simply with “I’m not your friend, if I were your brother, I’d say it’s your decision and your decision only”… bless him!

ha ha!! Thats hilarious!!! Sweet! I asked him to what he thought about me too! He gave me the choice of 380 / 410 or 460… Im thinking 410, he thought that would be fine. I liked him, he had a humorous side too. Are you meeting with him again? x

Definitely a humorous side… he seems cool. she showed me photos on his camera too of an op he did the day before. which gave me reassurance as they’re less likely to have been digitally edited (not that he would or would be allowed to do that!)…

haven’t asked to meet him again, but i’m visiting the clinic on the 31st to see the nurse to check my blood. i’m having 460 as i’m a 34AA / 36A. what are you at the moment?

have you decided to have a day case or night stay?

Yeah, I have the voucher – thanks anyway. I’m going as a daycase, I live an hour and a half away from Highgate. How about you? I’m a 36b at the mo and going to Holborn on Tuesday for pre-op!!! Blooomin ‘eck!!!! x

I’m having mine done over too… i figured i have extra room (lost a bit of weight) and hopefully it will be less painful!

i’m only doing a daycase, would love to do an over night but just seemed so expensive! i probably live an hour 22minutes on Google maps heading west! we’re very similar… spooky.

Hi Girls…..

I had my op done on 22nd June with Mr Falladhar, I would defo recommend him – he has done a great job with mine, I was a 34b previously and have had 460cc oers, I am now wearing a 34e sports bra so will probs be a DD once the swelling etc goes down completely.

Thought DR falladar was a great surgeon, he is really concerned about his work and make sure that you are happy with everything before going ahead…. couldn’t fault him at all….

I haven’t had any problems since having my BA and only had to take the pain killers for the day after my op, nothing since then – it was more an ache than a pain really…… My scars have healed fine and are really small….

If you can go with him then I definately would.

I paid £3395 for mine as a day case, it’s £500 more for an overnight stay I think.

At my consultations, they did really discuss after care… Have you experienced much?

I can’t believe you’ve coped with the painso easily – did you go over or under? Are you using anything to help the scars? X

Kate, do you live far from the hospital? I was given the option as I live approx an hour away and have my mum to drive me home. As long as you live close, have a way of getting home which does not include public transport, and someone to stay with – I think you’re allowed. It’s a lot cheaper. Also debatable though, if it wasn’t so expensive – I’d stay ove night, in case any complications arose! Hope your op goes well x

lublu, i was scared too… I waited a year, REALLY thought about it, still wanted it doing, a year later i’m all booked. There’s no rush and you need to ask all the questions you have!! They’ve hears them all before x

I live quite far from hospital but have been told if i stay in a hotel close by, thats fine, works out cheaper.

Hi girls, I too am booked in for the 7th Aug with Mr Falladhar! Really excited but sooooo nervous at the same time Aggie1 I also have my pre op with the nurse next Tuesday in Holbon, might see you there. My apt is at 10.30am.

I had overs, haven’t had any problems with them at all….. I haven’t been using anything yet for the scars as yr not allowed to put anything on them at all for the first six weeks after having them done. .. . As far as the aftercare is concerned, the office rang me the day after I had it done to check I was ok and so did the nurse, then I had an appointment with the nurse a week after my op to have my dressings removed, I have to go and see her again at 6 weeks, then I will see DR Falladar at 3 months post op….. other than that you don’t really hear from them but theres no need really unless something is wrong, you will be given an emergency contact number from the nurse at yr pre op which you can ring anytime day or night after yr op if you have any problems. xx

Ye I am a B/C cup now. Meeting up with him again on the day of my medical which is on the 11th aug hopefully with a letter saying I am ok to have my BA done from my GP. I had to have a biopsy done on my left breast yesterday because I had a lump I find out the results Monday but they already said its 100% fibroadenomas. If I didnt have the checkup Mr Fallahdar wouldnt do my BA.

Lisamjones, how exciting – you me and Kate will be sat in the waitingroom wondering who’s whom 510’s quite big? My surgeon suggest I went to that… But I’ve “op-ted” for 460’s… Tempted though, get more for your money then too haha x

I hope your biopsy results are okay – I’m sure they will be. Do you have long to wait?? X 

Kate, I’m a 36a / 34a but I’ve decided to go for 460s as I’m not a petite frame. When you go see him again and try the implants on, try your top on too… It gave me a better idea of size. Plus other people will see u clothed, not just in a bra. X

Another day down!!! At the weekend I’m buying post op bras and sport bras, very excited

Hey I had my op on Saturday 24th July with Dr Falladhor.

I had 460 unders and I am not sure if it is the strength of the painkillers or his work but I have had no pain apart from the muscles feeling a little tender. I am shocked at how painless it has been so far!

He is lovely and seems to be very good at what he does so don’t worry at all! x

Everything fine thanks, all booked in 21st. Seeing Mr F again on 17th Aug and the nurse next week, can’t wait, which clinic r u at? x

Just in case Angel19 doesn’t see this thread the error from what her prev thread is that there seemed to be some miss communication as to flight travel before your op. Angel19 only arrived back a few hours before her op. Had the surgeon known he would not have opperated. (again only going from what I read & not my oppion)This possibly caused the swelling which needed a drain.

Please dont take this as my oppion, it is just what I have read previously. I just didn’t want anyone to be worrying.

Angel19 if you do read this I hope eveything is going great for you hun x
