27th July – Geordie91's story…

My boob journey..

So i started my journey from my house in newcastle at about 9am with my mam. its about 2 hour journey from my house to rochdale BMI highfield.

So i arrived at the hospital for about 11:45 as my admission time was 12pm, was taken to my room which was number 21 the man even carried my awfully heavy bag ha. We sat waiting for about 35min then the nurse came in and checked all my details and ran through my health again. She took my blood pressure and said the anaesthetist and Mr Traynor would be down soon and that i would be going down early afternoon. Within 5mins of her saying this in walked Mr T, in his surgery gear drew on me said i’d made a wise decision on implant size and that he would see me soon. Within 5mins the anaesthetist came, gave me a brief description about whats going to happen. Then bang another nurse came in and said she was taking me down to theatre, in my sexy gown and paper knickers (gutted i missed out on the surgical stockings). Then i was lying on the table he put the needle in my arm (worst pain than my boobs right now, touch wood it stays the same). The last thing i remember talking about was kopparberg <3 my one love ha.

Then all of sudden someone was calling my name and telling me its all over, i thought i had slept in for work ha the sleep was awesome.

Just as i came out of recovery and into my room, my mam was there to welcome me back and in popped cuks (amazing women, love her) we had a good natter and in popped mr t again to prod my boobs yes they are there woooooop. and that he will see me in 6-8 weeks. I cried cz i was so happy that i’d done it (pathetic i know).

Im currently in my hospital bed writing this with my date from last week constantly texting me to make sure im ok this is all so good and i hope my healing continues well, as im not feeling much pain. (touch wood). I did have to make a complaint tho, i asked a nurse had i had any pain killers and his response was i presume you would of had some in theatre, that was that me in my place. Then the night nurse came in looked at my notes and said has anyone mentioned painkillers i said i had asked and he said the above. she said you’ve had nothing at all Was like what!! So not impressed at that tbh.

But i’m sorted now with choc biscuits and i had ice cream and my favourite haribo

Congrats hun,

I’m not booked until the 7th Sept but i’ve been under an anaesthetic before and the feeling when you come out of it is just the weirdest feeling, it’s almost like you’ve lost time and have absolutely no recollection of it…..so strange.

Hope you’re healing well hun and you’ll be all recovered and buying new bras just as i’m starting my journey.

No my pc rang and said the nurse will ring me tomorrow so I’m happy with that yeh I’m trying not to move but I’m quite itchy lol n feel like I’m about to burst ha. Gtown who’s your surgeon? And what you going for? Honestly it’s a complete breeze if I cam do it anyone can do it anyone can. Is someone picking u up? After xx

ive got transport arranged with mya cos no-one could come with me but my boyf will be back when i return on saturday

im getting 460 hp unders and my surgeon is mr kazzazi. dont think i’ll sleep tonight!! xx

I slept great the night before my op hardly slept a wink yday tho. Had a nap before n feel a bit better. Oh good that’s ok then xx

Yeah I had Julie is that who u had? Av just got 2 have a consultation with the surgeon and pick which one i want and save up aswel if i had the money i would get them done next week haha cnt wait now!! xxxx

Ahh ano she is so lovely! I havent decided yet she just gave me the info on the 3 so am going 2 do a bit of reserach first, did u just see the one surgeon and then decided to go with him? How ru feeling now? Was it as bad as u thought it would be? xxxx

I first went to see mario Russo but they messed my dates up so I then met mr traynor n I knew he was the man I wanted to do them. Man of very little words but he was great. What ones hVe you been given to research? I’m feeling fine today tbh bit stiff etc but I thought it would be loads worse I really did. It was a breeze. Touch wood I stay like this xx

I have been given Nazar Kazzazi, Mario Russo and Gary Traynor but av heard good things bout all of them so its going to be really hard lol. Thats great am so scared to get it done havnt had a op in me life, bet ur so pleased its all over and u hav ur new boobies haha xxx

I am lol the experience went past so quickly tho. The same three I was given. If I was you as well as doing your research I’d go and meet them. You get a better feel for it if you know what I mean. Everyone has different preferences. And mya only work with the best surgeons! When you looking to have your op? Xx

Yeah i think it will be a good idea to meet them aswell coz Julie said yesterday i have to feel comfortable with the surgeon, not till next year now need to get saving! What hospital did u go to? xxx
