2pm admission time

Got my admission time just now 2pm at Preston anyone had such a late admission time being a day case was expecting a early admission time with only being a day case ? Xxxxxx

Hiya hun maybe just double check with your PC that they havent changed you to an overnight case, or it may just be a busy day and thats when they will have a spot in a shared room available im sure its nothing to worry about xx

@fern yeah I’m gonna email her now to double check as it does seem a bit of a late time for day case xxxx

I was an overnight case last Wednesday in London as they didn’t have day cases left and my admission time was 11am xxx

My admission time is 2pm and im a day case too x

#sophy it seems strange don’t it I was expecting a earlier admission time with being a day case as says on email could be waiting yup to 6 hours till op aswell so if that’s the case we won’t be getting out till late on at night xx

My time was 2pm and I was livid I wanted it over with i didnt a tually go to theatre till 6 and eventually left at 10pm Then i had to pick my kids up from mums as they had school.

@natalieG it’s a. Bit off an awquard time esp for a day case and like you say waiting hours to accually go down luckily my mum can have my kids over night for me so not to bad that way xxx

Yeah i was expecting an early time. Thought the afternoon slots would be for the over nighters! Its gonna be a longggggg day and a hungry day!! X

@sophy it really is I’ll be starved lol I’ve bought a book to read lol try keep me occupied hopefully we are not waiting around to long xxxxxxxx

u have various paperwork and BP tests to do throughout the wait so its not too terrible i felt bad on my other half coz he starved with me x

Aww that’s not too bad then natalie and bless him I doubt my other half will starve with me lol he always eating haha he probs have snacks already waiting in car for him lol xxxxxxxx
