3 1/2 weeks post op, still not healed, boob full of fluid, help??? Started by: wendy

    Hi

    Ive been having trouble with one end of one of my scars, it has not closed properly, it was nearly healed but some one hugged me too tight and it has split again, I took the bandage off this morning and fluid poured out, it was like a tap!!!!!

    Nurse sadi to go back tomorrow and they will put me back on antibiotic…the third course Ive had now!!! and stap me up again, have not has a shower for nearly four weeks and I getting really fed up, it just wont heal!! has anyone had ssimilar issues???

    Hi

    Yes I smoke, I have tried to cut down and last time I went it was looking uch better but after this guyt hugged me really tight it has gotten so much worse then it has ever been, the anount of fluid that poured out was scary and I have not had this much before, Im really worried it has caused a big problem with the implant!!

    HAVE YOU HAD ANY KIND OF OP BEFORE..I SMOKE AND I HAVE HAD AN OP BEFORE ALOT BIGGER THAN A BA AND I NEVER STOP SMOKEING AND WAS NOT ASKED TO??THE SCAR WAS BIG AS WELL AND I HEALED FINE WAS OUT OF BED THE NEXT DAY TO HAVE ONE LOL .AM HAVEING MY BA ON THE 9TH AUG AND I HAVE NOT STOPED MY SELF IT’S SO HARD..WHAT DID THE FLUID LOOK LIKE.

    Hi

    yes I recently has an op on my wrist cos I shattered it and had a metal fram and pins in it, this was fine, a lot more painful and the pin sites were fine, they were open for a whole month because the frame was external but drilled through my skin i8nto the bone and had no problems with healing!! The fluid was a clear yellowish colour!
