I am now 3 days after surgery! I had my BA with Dr Adamo at high gate hospital and found the whole experience really good! i was a nervous wreck all the way up there till the point where i was laying in theatre! I was very worried about having general anesthetic and waking up during surgery! but i found it quite nice falling asleep. The staff there were very friendly and looked after me well. I was a 32B and had 340cc overs and i am very pleased with the size of my boobs now! I dont actually know what size i am now but all of my old bras seem so small!! I have a very low pain threshold so at the moment i am in quite a bit of pain but am on strong painkillers which make me feel permently drunk!! good luck to everyone having their surgerys its all worth the pain!! xxx

    Hi Amanda

The first few days are the worst, your body is getting used to the implants. I had 300cc and I was very stiff and found getting out of bed difficult… I just found that the implants were really heavy but you soon get used to it. Make sure that you do get plently of rest, as the less you do, the quicker you recover and feel better! I didn’t like the painkillers as they knocked me out and made me feel sick and I was luckily to stop taking them on day 3/4….. You should feel much better by day 6, and then after seeing the nurse! xxx

Hi Louise, thanks for the advise i was starting to get worried! hopefully i will need to stop taking the pain killers, it feels like i cant straighten my back properly so im worried ill get a hunch back haha!! xxx

Don’t worry I was the same, I decided to wait till I needed the painkillers and started to only take them at night and then see what the pain was like! I had to shuffle up the bed to get comfy, took awhile to get out the firt couple of days but it DOES get easier! Just make sure you do move around! Apparently I hunched my shoulders and my nurse said I had to move and it wont hurt or do anyt damage :-) The funniest moments where getting out of the bath, but once you crack it it’s easy.

Plus wont you start feeling better you become bravier and start to try and do things for yourself… But the twins will tell you when to stop! xx

At the moment im taking 2 painkillers at night and maybe 1 or 2 during the day, getting out of bed is quite funny, i have to like psyche myself up for it! hopefully wont be long until i can stand up straight again! dont want to go back to work looking and walking like an old lady! :D xx
