Hey girls. Just wanna know if all my feelings are normal really. Had my ba on tuesday with 380cc unders from a 32aa. Felt on top of the world on ties due to the good painkillers but since weds I feel so bad, really tight, boobs are hot, cuts are so sore and itchy and can’t take my anti biotics cos they make me sick!!

Feeling pretty down at the moment, kinda wishing I hadn’t bothered having them done but hope that will all change soon!

Just wondering, how long is it till walking/driving will be easy? And when will my scars stop feeling like stabby and itchy? My tight and swollen boobs r so uncomfy, when should I notice a difference in how I feel and my pain? Can’t help feeling that my painkillers aren’t doing their jobs properly!

Help needed pleaseeee! xxx

Alison i know how you feel hun, i was really down as well for the first week, had regrets, hated my boobs, the pain was unbearable! I was also sick but that was due to the painkillers i think…i found that if i had a piece of bread and butter with my tablets it stopped me feeling as sick…its really important you try and take your anti biotics hun because of infection….I’m 9 days post op now and have started to feel better in myself in the last few days, don’t feel as low and i’m not crying as much…My boobs have gone sore again and ache since i had the bandages off yesterday and my stitches are really stinging today…i found taking ibruprofen helped as well xx

Ahhh least I’m not the only one who struggles! Glad your feeling better now though! I’m taking all my painkillers and also strong ibuprofen but it doesn’t seem to touch it! I tried to call the nurse before to see f there is any other anti biotics I can take to stop infection cos I can’t take the ones I have at all zxx

I was struggling big time hun…got a major case of the post op blues (hush predicted i would do) I was at rock bottom for a few days but although i still don’t “love” my boobs, i’m starting to “like” them a tiny bit which i’m happy about! I saw my stitches and scars for the first time yesterday and it freaked me out, it was awful but i’m trying to start being more positive and am taking it a day at a time now…I’m just so impatient, i expected results straight away lol!

Yeah thats a good idea seeing if there are other anti biotics you can take…let us know what your nurse says hun! xx

Hey love. Im 2 days po. Im really tight chested too, im also very itchy where my insisions are. My skin feels stretched.too!! U aint alone hunni. Wouldnt say im in pain im jus very uncomfortable. I also had 380 unders from 32aaaaa. I only have paracetemol as painkiller as im allergic to coidine!! I struggle.to kill a bad head with paracetemol lol xx

I think im beginning to get a case of the post op blues. I just feel like a fat,lazy slob. Kinda feel like ripping my boobs off so I can be comfy!lol. I dont feel ready to go out yet n as the weekend approaches I think im just bored my boobs r looking rather massive aswell. I assume when they settle and drop we will be better friends..

Yep, I’ve just taken some Senna – I weigh half a stone more than usual! Hope to god half of that is bloatedness.

Alison, I hope you feel better soon chuck. I was wondering how you were. Nurofen might be good for you, you know? Except don’t think you can take any other painkillers if taking those. I was in agony yesterday but I’m great today. I can’t imagine being able to drive for at least another week but my boyfriend took me out and about shopping today.

When I feel alot of pain, I find that frozen peas are an absolute godsend. x

Frig i just sneezed again and my god it hurt!! I want my hair washed its filthy hahaha..

My boyfriend washed my hair for me the day after op but I got annoyed with him (!) and so now I hang my head over the bath and wash it myself. x

Hi alison I been takin nurofen in between that wrks I’m actually quite active n nt in much pain at all have u tried hotwater bottle between midle of ya back that helps get we’ll soon hun x
