Have you ever had codeine before? Stop taking them just take paracetamol and you can take ibuprofen as well if you feel the need xx

Thank you girls. I can drink water but every time I do I feel more sick. Im on Codiene, ibuprofen and paracetamol. It’s funny though cause I had codeine earlier and wasn’t sick after but I’ve just had paracetamol and it literally came right back up. Xx

I have been on a codeine based pain killer since I’ve been home as well as my antibiotic and I have felt constantly nauseous and completely lost my appetite.. Been really constipated aswell (sorry :-/).. I have been trying to eat because I know I need to to aid my recovery.. I have felt bad since my op Tuesday.. I was also told by the pharmacist at Highgate not to take ibruprofen because it’s a blood thinning drug.. She told me to wait 2 weeks before taking that.. I’d check on that with the nurses maybe.. Xxx

yeah ibruprofen is the same class as aspirin so you have to be careful, however if ur nurse/surgeon gave you that then you are alright. Heidiboo75 for ur other problem hehe a strong coffee or fresh organge juice will help you go! Coedine doesnt agree with everyone but them again maybe paracetamol doesnt agree with you Claire – maybe try cut it out and see if u get better. xxx
