I’ve had no assigned pc x no phone call for my admission time x I had to chase this up x no pre op phone call to reassure me b4 op like last time x I was told I would get a phone call day after my op to see how I am x and as yet no phone call x I am so dissatisfied in MYA x I could not fault them in 2007 when I had my first op there customer service and care was 100% x I had referred friends on to MYA after such good service in 2007 x what’s happened ??? It’s disappointing x the number of times I gave them my phone number must of been 15 or more so x even though I was on there system x bad customer service x am not a complainer but I expected the same service I received originally and just want it made aware x

On a good note :) the staff at First Trust Hospital in Preston were brilliant x I was really anxious and upset about my op and the staff were very caring and sensitive and made me feel at ease x they were all so fantastic and if any of the girlies are having our surgery there you will be well looked after x

I went through Manchester clinic and apart from waiting a bit longer than i thought i would to have an appointment as they were running over one evening i cannot really fault them. I have heard some bad reviews, more so about manchester than any other, but i had a good experience x

niccinoo yeah im 6 months post op, had my op with Mr Traynor at Preston First Trust in October. Im not saying they have been perfect, there are always areas for improvement, but up to now i have been happy.

I feel awful for those people who haven’t had good service, its such a big thing to go through and we are trusting them with our lives and our bodies and paying alot of money for it so everything should be 100% excellent! Im not trying to defend then, everyone should have the same great service but just thought i was so nervous pre op, any little thing like this would send me into a panic so just thought i would reassure the current pre oppers going through Manchester that there has been lots of good service too. I went with MYA cos my friend really rated them as she went with MYA Manchester a few months earlier for her ba :) xx

I totally understand and agree x like I said origionally my first op I could not fault them at all 100% and I referred friends on to them x I just think they need to be a bit tighter and more on the ball with customer service and my care has not been the same as it was origionally x if it had been the same I would not be questioning it x am not saying am dissapointed to scare people off far from it x They are a good company just some areas are letting them down that’s all x First trust hospital were on the ball and I could not fault them at all the staff were brilliant x

Yeah that’s why I think it’s good they have this forum. I bet other people have similar issues with other companies but they just don’t have a forum to voice it on. Hopefully the powers that be will look on here, see where they need to improve and put these improvements into place. It’s a shame you had such a good experience the first time and haven’t the second. I had my op at first trust too and they were fab x

me too x I work in the private care field and know how important it is to not let things slip x and being made aware is in my eyes only a good thing x it should be thought of positively to make improvements in there overall service x

At First trust I had a nurse called Christene she was great support x lol I also liked that there was a peacock out in the garden my bf took some pictures n sent them to my daughter cheered her up while she was being looked after by grandma :) x
