Hello lovely MYA ladies! Had my ba 3 months ago and saw Mr Traynor for the last time yesterday, and I can safely say I am so glad I had it done. I feel fantastic, both in body and mind. It was such a difficult decision to make, over 10 years of thinking about it but glimpsing my before photos in my file yesterday just reminded me of how miserable I was for all those years. Mr Traynor is so lovely, and would thoroughly recommend him, he really listened and looked after me, and now I have a natural pair of boobs which match my frame. So, if you’re sitting there, reading this and in turmoil about whether to have it done, then I hope my sense of relief is something I can pass on and may push towards your right decision…

    Good luck

    x :-)

hey Karen- how many times do you have to see the surgeon after your op? I had my ba 2 weeks ago and need to see mr t in 4 weeks whichll be the 6 week check in, is there anymore after that? glad you loving you new boobs!! xx

I saw the nurse to have my dressings and stiches removed but can’t remember if that was 1 week or 4 weeks post op, then was supposed to see mr T at 6 weeks but was away, so only saw him for the first time after the op yesterday. It is longer than usual, but Mr T is only at Newcastle every 6 weeks. I don’t think you’ll see him again after 6 weeks unless he wants to see you.

    How’s the healing?

ah is he? I’m going to see him there in 4 so it must be a one off. wonder why he’s there so little! healings ok I think but tbh there’s some leaking from one incision , I’ve had the big dressings off just got the little plaster like things on now. what’s your stats? xx

i only had 260cc as im only tiny, just expected them to be bigger than this thou, i have no shape n thought that they would be really round now if anything, dont see how the roundness will come when there settling! did u have unders or overs thou?

I think its coz he’s a man in demand all over the country! Have you got the dressings wet at all? You may just have opened up the incision a bit, but try to stop peeling it back to sneak a look at it else you’re inviting infection! I was a 32 aaa, now a 32 b/c (but believe me, I really didn’t have any breat tissue at all before so I’m smaller than the average who has 260s).

Lollipop – are they more pointy with a flat front? Mine were cone-shaped (think Madonna-esque!) but are round now. Don’t worry, they will change, I promise! 😉

true he does seem in demand! got these wet as the nurse said I could, have to blast them with the hairdryer when I’m out the shower! ment to keep these on for a week, whichll be tomorrow but I think I’ll keep them on longer or replace them cos I feel like I need to! xx

Rachel – I’m a bit surprised she said it was ok to get them wet. I would try to avoid it (but I’m not a nurse!).

    Hi Rachel

Do you have any pictures at all? I am a 34A/B and was suggested 300 or 340cc overs by one surgeon and 410 by another… really not sure what to do. Possibly thinking 380… happy medium?? lol xx

Just try for a couple of days to help the wound dry out and start to scab where its leaking. May help! :-)
