I think you still need them as they give you a gown thing to go to theatre in but it ties at the back I think so your bum would be showing. I’ve had a day case operation before (non-cosmetic) and I got changed into this and some DVT socks then had to wait a little bit longer for a bed so it’s more comfortable waiting in a dressing gown and slippers 🙂 plus you’ve got to walk to your bed before you get wheeled down to theatre so it’s much better to take slippers! Xx
