I work in the beauty industry and being pale is not a good look for me so im in desperate need of a sunbed, i know they say wait till 6 weeks but im not sure if thats 6 weeks naked or not, if i put plasters over my scars and wear a bra will my boobs be protected enough?? has anyone used one at 3 weeks po? xx

Call the nurse and ask her, in sure if u cover them u will be fine but just double check. I recall the nurse telling me no sunbeds before 6 weeks but she also said about covering up if I do.. Wasn’t listening tho coz I don’t use sunbeds lol x

I’ve been on today (2 wks post op). Went on the lie down one, folded my top and lay it over scars and bottom half of boobs. Fingers crossed it won’t do any harm. X

Hey girls. When I had my 6 week check I asked this and Mr traynor said after 3 months I can start using them but keep the scar covered for 6 months. But everyone says different xx x
