3 weeks post op & my skin hurts(help) Started by: faye28

Hey faye I’m two weeks post op and for the past 2-3 days my breast skin has been really hypersensitive and feels quite sore, especially if I’m wearing a sports bra which is slightly loose. I wear a camoisole now which has hidden support and it does help. I’ve also been applying cool pads which also help. I spoke to my nurse yesterday and she said it’s the feeling starting to return and the nerve endings repairing. This I’m told is completely normal, it’s also due to the breasts settling – the skin is stretching and relaxing to accommodate the new implants. BUT if in doubt honey speak to your nurse. xxx
