300cc overs with Dr C at Highgate 14/06

Well started my day by leaving my house near Exeter in Devon at 5am leaving me an hour for traffic etc. Stopped after a boy 2hrs where I had to begrudgingly watch my fiancé have breakfast and coffee!

Nearer to London with what the sat nav said was 35mins to go and it took 1hr50mins headless to say, I was late! I got there at 9.50 but the receptionist was nice enough. Fiancé then had to find a space (bit of a nightmare).

Got shown to my room abot 15mins later where a nurse said that Dr C had a patient at the mo then would be in to draw on me. About 5 mins later another nurse speared to take blood pressure and do paperwork. She told me to change into my gorgeous paper knickers(which the fiancé wanted me to take home ;0) ) and gown and socks. Just step into the bathroom to change and in walks Dr C already!!! Wow that was quick! Said he was happy for me to have 300 instead of 260 and confirmed I was to have overs he drew his artwork (which by the way I think I got off very lightly compared to some people on here) was told he just had one to do then it was my turn! took out my piercings-did not enjoy that!

About 5 mins later and I get a visit from the anethnatist who says “see you in a few mins”. It was literally about 15 mins and I was called to go down. Not expecting it to be that soon I was all in a flap and didn’t get to say proper goodby to the fiancé but think he understood!

So at 11.20 I had the nasty needle put in- whack REALLY hurt cos I have ridiculously small veins and few deep breaths and I was out!

Woke up in recovery and remember saying a feel really sick and being jabbed promptly in the leg! Ouch lol

Was pretty out of it when they wheeled me back to my room for 12.40 which fiancé found hillourios!

Nurse came in and offered tea and toast, I wolfed it down and pretty much haven’t stopped eating since. In and out of dozing too. Finally got discharged at 5.30 but ate dinner then got dressed and left about6.20. Took about an hour to get to the hotel which should have taken 5 mins. Stupid traffic!

So sorry for the long post but tucked up at the hotel and can’t wait for the morning so I can take a look at my torpedoes lol

Lovely reading your story! had mine today too. Why did you have to remove your piercing? did they tell you? coz i have my tragus pierced and my top ear and they just taped them up xxx

Chloe I was told a had to take everything out, ears, Tongue, belly and also engagement ring! Couldn’t even where clips in my hair or bands with mettle on them! Happy healing, pain has licked in mow, waiting for breakfast so i can take pain killers xx
