It’s because 99% of girls don’t know their true band size and have never been properly measured. When you have your consultation the surgeon gives you a better idea, then at 6 weeks post op when you get measured you realize you should have been wearing a smaller band all your life!!! lol. I always wore a 34, thinking 32 was too tight. Buy it SHOULD be tight! A bra is supposed to keep the boobs properly supported, not just sit comfortably like an extra layer :P

new boobies what do you measure underbust i measure 30inch but 34 bra is constantly riding up

    Menu

I measure 35 round the widest part of my breasts and 32 underneath. Sounds like you need a smaller band size. I got measured at la senza, debenhams, and ann summers and all were very good and helpful x

So do they measure you at your 6 week check up? Will be interesteing to see what size they say i am cus just by looking mario said i was 1 size smaller than what i was wearing but like you new boobies i think its too tight lol like it to be comfy!xx

    Menu

To measure your band size you measure

Under your boobs ad the add 5″ so Kat1986 a 34 band size is correct for you x

do the bust size change after 6 weeks hope my size still stay s the same forever lol x

    Menu

I measure 26 underneath bust this makes me a 30 don’t it? I been wearing 32 or 34 lol and 33 round fullest bit xx

Oh I’m useless at math and found most of the formulas/ calculators for estimating bra size are totally off. You get measured in shops at 6 weeks (the earliest most surgeons advise you get measured) and they tell you what size you should be wearing. Most girls are shocked because they never got measured before and always wore a bigger size than they ought to xx

    Menu

Woah kat that’s some size difference lol! Mind you Mr. K estimated me as a c cup at my consultation with him before the op, when i was nowhere near that. I wore a b cup though sometimes fit into a’s, Just goes to show

It’s just short of 33, I’ve lost weight my back gone from a 27 to 26, when I was 27 I got measured at m and s and fullest was between 33 and 34 she said 32b/c but now I lost weight I’m 26 back and just short of 33 I thought that was like a 30c I’m no were near a ff lol. I havnt had my boobs done yet xx

Gosh I seriously need measuring I’ve no idea what size I am or was by looks of things lol xx

    Menu

It’s suppose to be add 4 if even number or 5 if odd for your back size. And then for the full part 1 inch extra is an additional cup so I have 3 additional inches on my band size which should be a c, that’s what I’ve read on net anyhow and that’s how m n s do it lol. But every shop is different xx
