340 overs new photos :) Started by: char1989

Hi girls!

I had my op on wednesday at highgate with Mr Adamo! – FINALLY! can’t believe how quick it came around.

I had 340 overs and am so so pleased with the result at the moment!! – they’re obviously swollen so once that goes down i’m going to love even more haha.

I was a daycase, so got to hospital at around 7.10am and was admitted to my room by 7.20am. I did wait around for a little bit until the anaestist came in and asked me a few questions, then dr adamo came in and drew on me and finalised exactly what I was going to have, as I had two implants ordered.

After all my nurse visits I finally got collected to go down to surgery at around 11.30am. The anaesitist was lovely – i’m really scared of needles – but once the canular was in I was practically out like a light, the last thing i remember was Dr adamo laughing at how hard I was squeezing his hand!

When I woke up it was around 12:45, and all i remember is the nurse calling my name – when I came round a little more i had a little peek haha.

After that it was back to my room where my friend was waiting for me and we just sat and watched tele for a few hours until finally Dr. Adamo came back to see me at half 6 and said i’m ok to go home

I am now 5 days post op – and although I am in slight pain now and again with little twinges I am so happy.

I did bleed slightly that night one or two drops, which I can’t see where it came from as the dressings are fine, and i bled again the first night slightly but it’s literally only one or two drops and the nurse said it may just be from the wounds and unless it’s severe bleeding or i’m really worried then come in.

But for all you nervous pre op girls – really it’s fine! The afterwards is the worst part for me, i’m so bored at home all day long and my bum hurts from sitting upright constantly haha. But really there’s nothing to be scared of, the doctors and nurses are such great people and really take lots of care of you
