I’m getting myself all confused about bra sizing!! I’ve recently had 385 overs from a (what I thought was a) 34b. I’m wearing a 34 d sports bra and am finding it to be painful on the outside and lower boobs and my ribcage. Its actually more comfortable when im not wearing a bra! I’ve took my current measurements at 28 ribcage and 35 across bust. I know they still have a lot of settling to do but does anybody know if I’m wearing the correct size? I’ve looked on the online caculators and am coming out as a 28 f?? Any help would be fab. Thanks ladies 🙂

Hiya georgina! I got measured this week at a 28f and was told to wear a 34d or 32dd, whichever is more comfortable depending on the style! Im actually still wearing sports bras and find the 34 dd to b most comfortable as my ribs r still a bit sore from sleeping upright! X

Oh that’s really helpful!! Thanks jakki. How far post op are you? I never thought my ribs could be painful due to sleeping propped up, but I guess it’s the same effect as sit ups!! Think I need a trip to the shops to try on a 32 dd. cheers again x

Thin it’s best to just go to an actual shop like seven hams or Ann Summers and get measured there, these sites are unreliable and false. I did one once and it told me I was a 36b I’m a 30/32DD so it couldn’t have been more wrong!xxx

Hi Hun I found my ribs hurt when I layed down I found it uncomfy when tring to sleep . Cut the backing parts of an old bra and sow them together as a bra strap you can add to you bra to give you more room. 🙂 x
