    girls 4 days post op should i be sat up right when i go to bed, i wake up in the night and im just about nearly lying dwn! will this effect me in any way xx

    You can’t help moving in your sleep! I sleep with a v pillow which keeps me in place at about 45 degrees, I think as long as you are confortable you should be ok but I would try to stay up a little if u can x

    nicca1980 is right u need to be propped at 45 degrees for the 1st week, iam 12 days po and still on my back, cant get onto my side yet lol xxxx

    ive never slept much propped up and mine are fine, i have a normal pillow under my v pillow thats it, ive also slept on my side twice

    im only 9 days post op

    I got the bandages removed yesterday at 7 days PO and got told I have to sleep propped up for another week to avoid swelling and soreness not that it affects anything else. It’s so uncomfortable on your back.

    I am so scared about bottoming out so I am listening to what I have been told, which is definitely a first!! Xx

    im the same char, i never slept very propped up mr. C said he didnt think it made much difference! i started sleeping on my side 6day PO now 20days PO i can sleep on my tummy 😀 xx

    wht does bottoming out mean?? sounds bloody awfull x
