yes its six weeks and when u seen your surgeon for that chck up they will beable to say u r safe to wear one xx

Maybe try some of the non-wired bras in M&S if you can’t wait hun. Should be fine with those as they won’t irritate the scars? x

I wore the non wired ones from M&S they were nice and did the job, I couldnt wait to get back into wired ones though! Although beware it takes a while to get used to them, I found they hurt and made me ache to start but bear with it.

Hi all, I had a my one week check up on Wednesday this week and asked this same question and was told to wait 12 weeks before wearing an underwire bra because it can rub and interfere with the scar/incision – just thought I should share this info with you xx
