4 weeks post op and both scars still have one stitch undisolved? – WORRIED Started by: amychristina

i went for a 4 week check up last week and the nurse cut the last stitch out for me as i had one suborn one, whens your next check up?? or maybe go to your own doctor and see if they will take it out for you??? xx

if its bothering you that much id ring and ask what they think, better to put your mind at rest than to worry yourself for nothing, and your not mythering look at what you paid to get it done….xx

I had lots of problems with stubborn undissolved stitches I had several and they lasted for weeks. I was in cornwall week 4 and 5 and so I could not see anyone. At week six review I had green oozing out of a big hole she poked around to find the threads in a couple of places. Then she put iodine and s dressing but then it went soggy and the next day I got sterile scissors and poked in and found another thread I was left with a crater and left it clean and dry and it filled in but I still have a red blotch there and I’m 18 weeks p o. I prob should have had anti biotic at the time so be careful with your undissolved threads because they wreak havoc and can get infected xxx
