hey chick i had 380 overs 2weeks ago and im a 36e was a 34a and im a size 12 they re great i love themxx
oh god for def!! you,ll def reach an e cup! prob a ff!! i only had 340cc overs from a 34b and now a 32e! and i fit really snuggly into a 32e bra! they dont look massive though! but i love them! so you are def def going to achieve a very good size!!525cc is a large implant! god i wish i was offered that size!! oh and a 40b or any other 40’s you would get that size in m&s as they fit all sizes! most shops only supply 34inches up to 36inches! but if you are below that or above it can be hard to get the correct fit! X
hiya, I suggest you get measured at a shop, as 40B seems a very big back for a size 10/12 im a size 10/12 on top and I was a 34b had 525cc and now am a 32gg, dont look it tho, look about a 32 e hope this helps x
hiya leanne. i have been studying bra sizes for a while now (no im not weird) and i think the best thing for you to do is do some research. first, get measured properly, either at a respectable specialist underwear shop (john lewis is good) or youcan do it yourself. (i do this every month)
I’ll explain how…
firstly measure around your chest under your bust, at the level where the lowest part of your bra should sit. Try not to let the tape slip down at the back; it needs to be level all the way along. Take this measurement (in inches): if it is even, add four, if it is odd, add five. The resulting number is your band size. for example, if your chest measuures 32inches you add 4 and you are a 36 back size. most of the support from your bra is in the back band, thats why its so important that it fits snugly.you should be buying the tightest back size you can fit in and wearing it on the loosest setting, as the elastic stretches you can tighten the hooks.
Next, measure around the fullest part of your breasts; don’t squish them unless you want your bra to squish them too. This measurement in inches is your bust size.
To obtain your cup size, subtract your band size from your bust size. If the two are the same, you are an A cup. If your bust size is one inch larger than your band size, you are a B cup, two inches larger and you are a C cup. This continues through the alphabet, though not in a strictly linear fashion, due to the presence of cup sizes such as DD.
for example chest=32 which means youre a size 36
bust =37 which means youre a 36b
you also need to know that band size and cup size are relative to eachother, for example a 36b is bigger than a 34b. however, if youre a 32c your boobs are the same size as a 34b. the size of the cup increases with the band.
(i hope that makes sense, i definately know most of the girls i know dont really get it) if you tell people youre a 32e they just hear the band size and think you have massive boobs, however a 32e is the same size (in the cup) as a 36/38c. men dont get it.
if your back size is truely 40 (35-36 inches under boobs) i expect it will take more than a 525 to get you to an E because of the width of your chest/boobs. however if you are a 36 i expect you wouldnt be far off. depending on placement.
ofcourse im not a surgeon and you should always trust your surgeon. BUT get yourself measured properly. its sooo much help. it helps you to calculate what size you might end up. i wish i had known all of this before i had my BA.
some people say that 140-150cc is a cup size… this is not very accurate. if you have a wide frame the silicone needs to spread wider on your chest so wont project outwards as much, so wont be one cup size. it may be less. or more if you have a small frame.
having a boob job will not change your back size. i find it amazing how girls who were a 32b come out assuming theyre a 36d. it doesnt work like that. thats why its sooo important to gt measured before and after your ba. and regularly throughout your life.
i thought that 140-150cc was a cup size. so i had 380cc however, thinking i would end up a full c/large d. not the case, im now a 30ff. because my backsize is so small.
i think it may be about right for someone with an average backsize 34/36 (measured properly) but everyone is different.
one more thing… do as much research as possible. MYAs surgeons are some of the best in the country. youll always find one that will give you what you want.
sorry for rambling.
Wow janey you know your bra sizes! I’m going to go buy myself a tape measure right now and give that a go lol! How do you know all that?? Thats really good advice thanks x
Well done Janey, very informative hun. They say lots of us girls wear the wrong size bra, and its so true, but its only because its so confusing! This should help everyone
