Hi all, firs of all I wanted to say a big thank you to all of you, it’s really great to know you are all here to help and believe me you did help me a lot before and after my op…That’s why I decided to put my pictures up and tell my story, so it can help in some way all pre op girls.
I had my surgery last Friday at Fitzroy hospital with Mr Singh. Arrived in the morning a bit early, but I was quickly shown to my room, and had all checks done by the nurse, then the anesthesiologist explained the whole procedure and Mr Singh checked again the size we agreed and drew on my chest. As to the size – I was not sure till last minute, I was 34B, size 8, and I was considering 340, 380 or 410 implants. I really wanted to go for 410, but then I was worried they would be too big and made me look silly… In the end I just asked Mr Singh to decide in the theatre. All hospital staff were so friendly and helpful, they really put me at ease. I was taken for the surgery at 10:30, and I have to admit, my legs were shaking:) Anyway, it was really quick, started to talk with the anesthesiologist, and then remember waking up afterwards…My first words were:’this was the best sleep I’ve ever had in my life!’:)I bet the nurses there must laugh quite a lot at the things people say after they wake up from GA:)I felt quite good, no side effects from GA, just a bit sore and my right breast felt bit more tender then the other, but I’ve been told it’s because it probably has been done first. Unfortunately as the hours passed, it started to be more painful, hard and swollen, the swelling actually got to my collar bone and I was lucky I could not see it properly, otherwise I would panic really badly as it looked quite bad. It turned out I had a hematoma, and there was a lot of blood inside so I had to have another surgery to remove it. I had to wait until late as I had lunch, and your’e not supposed to eat anything for six hours. So at 7:30pm I had my second op, this time it was much harder to wake up from GA, I felt really tired and sleepy. Most of the swelling was gone, and I had drain in. I stayed in the hospital until next day. Now I am home, it’s my fourth day, and I’m feeling quite well. I did expect it to be more painful, I would say if it wasn’t for the complication I had, it really was ok and nothing to be scared of. I removed my tapes today as well, so finally I have some pictures. On first few you can see the hematoma, it does not look good, but on the last ones most of the swelling is gone, there is only some bruising left… I don’t know, maybe it’s only me, or maybe it needs time to settle, but I think my right breast is quite uneven? I mean, the left one is nice and round, but the right one seems to be kind of pulled in by the areola, can you see it? I’m really worried it will stay this way
Let me know what you think, just be honest please! (ah, in the end I had 410, and I think it was the right choice). Well, good luck to all pre op girls, don’t be scared as there really is no reason to be! And altough I had the hematoma, remember this is rare, and as you can see can be fixed, so nothing to worry about. I would definitely do it again!

Is it ok to add you? Haematoma sounds awful. I’m 5 days post op and feeling well. Still tender and nipple and lower half of my breast is numb. Hope you don’t have anymore setbacks, worth it though. Xx
Hope you don’t mind if i add you hun? I’ve been recommended 300,340,380 or 410s. It’s good to hear about a complication that has been sorted straight away, hope the rest of your recovery goes well xxx
