So had my BA on Wednesday at Highgate hospital by the wonderful Dr Adamo. Admitted at 9.30am, taken to operating theater at 12.15pm n came to at about 14,15pm or so and waa…laa, l’ve got boobies. Still in a lot of pain at the moo but it will be all worth it in the end.
So just want to say a big thank you to all u lovely ladies who’s been giving the pre-op girls sound advises n answering questions. I benefited immensely from them. I must also thank MYA for allowing this forum to continue even though some people abuse it unnecessarily. I would like to thank my PC (Kunmi Paris-Daniels) Kumni is the best! She is simply an asset to MYA. I felt so comfortable throughout my journey with kumni’s support n I simply would have pulled out of the whole surgery at a pt where l had a lot of doubts if l’m doing the right thing, if not for her continued support and guidance. She is very professional n will always call back with answers to my queries even when they r outside her remit.
Dr,Adamo is simply a gem! I knew after my very first consultation that he’s the one. I’,m not sure why but it could be the fact that he’s had yrs of experience in this field or it could be the father figure thing…. U no what l mean? Anyway, he’s not a man of many words but has that smile that re-assures you u’r in very good hands. (pre-op girls at consultation stage take note).
Highgate hospital
Nurse Katie (my nurse for the day). Katie was very nice and took good care of me before n after my op. She will always come in my room with a broad n pleasant smile and attitude no matter how many times I pressed the nurses buzzer which if l’m being honest l pressed a lot. Not sure why she’s only an agency nurse though. I think Highgate hospital should take her as a permanent staff in my opinion.
post op – just resting n taking things easy, pics will be up as soon as I can figure out where the hell I kept my Camera/PC cable.
Overall, I’m glad l used MYA rather than other companies as my experience with them so far has been nothing but pleasant.
