Hey,

I’m 5 days post op, had 380cc unders from a large 32A. I’ve still got the tape on so I can’t see a great deal, but I pulled the tape back a bit earlier (naughty me!) and they don’t seem to look that big. The gap is so large, and all their volume is right under my armpits. I know I’m being mega impatient, but when will this change? I have no clevage atm and tbh they look almost the same as before when I look down at myself, as there’s about a 4inch gap before the curve of my breast starts! I wanted to be a 32D at least and everyone else seems to be this. Did anyone else feel like this initially and it sorted itself out?

Hi Amy. I’m 8 days post op. Didn’t have any tape on mine other than to cover the scars. Pre op I was a 34A, size 8, 53kg and I had 410cc partial unders. My boobs are rock hard, tight and sitting really high on my chest with a 3-4cm gap and a lot of the volume is under my armpits too. I went into Ann Summers to try on bras just to see the size and fitted into a 34DD/32E perfectly at the moment. Unders take longer to form the proper shape. I was completely panicking on Sunday that my boobs were going to look like this forever but did a search on google and found an american website that shows you photos of the recovery period up to 6 months and it’s perfectly normal. Had my post op appointment yesterday and the nurse said they should have started to soften up and drop within the next 3 weeks. Hi Amy, i had my ba on Tuesday 23rd and im the same, i had 340 under the muscle and i have a huge gap inbetween my boobs and most of my swelling is under my armpits…not a good look. i cant wait for the swelling to go and im in so much pain, are u still in pain? Hey!had op in dec and I was exactly the same!!!they dnt look much different from above at first but it will all change over next few weeks!they will soften and be less under ur arms just takes a bit of time!mine are still changing now 3 months after!I still have a gap in between but I think that’s due to not being able to find a decent push up bra!xxx

Hi Lisa – will send some pics. Also you can add me on Facebook if you’re on there as had my first night out last night since my op and my friend took some fab photos – Donna Timms. My profile pic is the blonde with the big boobies! lol

My swelling has literally gone down in the last two days – was really uncomfortable until then but fine now. Can drive and pretty much do everything I could do before bar lifting heavy things. Hang in there. Once the first week has gone you will feel so much better.

what size sports bra are you wearing at the mo amyx ???

I was a 32a, i had 340cc unders, im wearing a 32c… but the backs riding up so i think im 32d, im 6days post op, and they have swelled alot since post op day 1

also, the volume of mine is also under the armpits, and there is quite a gap between them, and lack of cleavage.. but im sure this will change when we start wearing push up bras xxx

Hey,

roxy1989- I’m wearing a 34D sports bra. Got a bit of an issue as the straps won’t go short enough so they keep slipping down but then a 32 would prob be too tight around my scars atm! I didn’t get any swelling as I had drains so they have bee the same size since day 1. Mine still look fairly big on my body and yeh, like you say, once we get into proper bras they’ll look bigger anyway! Sports bras hold you all in!

lisamichelle- I’m in almost no pain now. I think i was quite lucky as I havn’t realy had much pain I find when I wake up from sleeping they ache a bit but it’s not too bad. I started back to work on sunday too (8 days post op), I’m only a sales advisor, but I found standing around all day and reaching for things made them ache too. But overal I had prepared myself for worse pain!

from 1 day post op to now being 7days post op… they are definetly bigger!! , mine look proportional to my body, even though im a size 8, they dont look silly at all, yeah reaching and small movemements does hurt.. ow xx

Dreamergirl, do you have any pics please. still deciding on size etc, booked in May 14th and would love to see pics of a couple of months later to see how they settle etc. I’m having under but undecided between 380cc and 410cc, am a small 32b at the mo hoping to go to a dd/e.
