    Im not 2 sure hun im pre op still. Having my op in 2 wks. How have u found sleeping upright. Its the part Im dreading most. I love my sleep x x

    Haha! Well that’s no good then… I found it okay actually its not all that bad actually as long as u have loads pillows and v cushion! Last night was the only night I struggled with bcoz my back and ass is aching! Don’t wanna do it much longer tho!xx

    isnt it not just untill you feel comfy to sleep flat? ive been sleeping proped up for 2 nights now and my lower back is killing already and my neck hurts haha! xx

    Hi hun, on the paperwork the nurse gave me it says 7-10 nights….iv been sleeping upright 5 nights now and its killing my back. I feel fine sleeping on my back, but just dunno if im allowed to yet…so iv been sleeping sitting up….not enjoying it at all :/

    You can start sleeping flatter after your 7 day check up. You can start to lay in any position as long as it’s comfortable to do so xx

    Ahh that’s great girls thanks.. Think I’ll have a couple more nights and try it after then :D!! Miss sleeping normal so bad! X

    Yeah it’s rubbish! It drove me MAD!! Got so sick of sleeping on my back i sort of forced it to be OK on my side ha ha. Now i can sleep in most positions comfortably thank god xx

    That’s good haha! I know I’ve been okay until last night and I couldn’t see it drove me mad and I was knackered :( .. Can’t wait to sleep flat .. Bt thankgod for my v pillow I’m never parting with it again ha x

    I was sleeping flat from 7 days and just after 14 I found that I was turning on my side in my sleep. I’m now quite comfortable on my side as long as my boob is resting on the bottom of my V pillow.

    My boyfriend keeps hiding my V pillow in the cupboard!! I keep waking up and it’s not there, think he’s getting a bit jealous of me cuddling it all the time instead of him ha ha xx

    Haha that’s real funny! They are amazing tho! I love it haha! Its got me through this week lol you can put it in loads of different positions to get comfy :) x

    -did anyone else find that sleeping upright you hear all the noises around the house/outside? bloody irritating :)had to put earplugs in!

    first night upright with my V pillow and two regular ones- didn’t get much sleep!

    someone recommended a while back on the forum to sit on a pillow too – might try that this eve …

    so that’s 3 pillows and a V pillow!

    I’m 8 weeks post op and still sleep with my v pillow lol…it has pride of place on our bed :) xx

    u can sleep flat there was only 1 day i slept upright and thats coz i was in so much pain i cudnt move off my chair, lay flat but have say 2 or 3 pillows so ur slightly up ull be fine. at 9 days i was on my side but this took a few days to get used too as i was scared of laying part on my boobs. i dont see the point in sleeping upright, its only for swelling and i was upright during the day anyway. and my boobs still look great so didnt do any damage lol x

    I hated sleeping upright the v pillow is fab thou. I was on my side after 2 weeks. i did attempt it earlier but woke with burning feeling so decided not to do it again for a while lol xx

    haha, no cant say i heard noises outside when i sleep upright lol

    i have two massive pillows behind me and one under my bum and my v pillow too! im 7 days post op now and i woke up this morning practically flat and it was fine, and on my side so its getting better :D.. xx
