6 days post op (part 2) Started by: roxy1989

They looked after me so well that night… they brought in a menu, so i could choose what i wanted for my meal that night, and breakky… suprisngly i wasnt hungry, considering i hadnt eaten since 2am!!
The nurse had to take my blood pressure every half hour, then every hour… and i had beef lasagne, potato croquets, with salad, and orange juice…
watched tv, and rung my family to chat…
my breasts were just really swollen, and tense, my torso also hurt alot!! as though i had done 2,000 sit ups lol.

When the night nurse came and the day nurse went home, she asked me if i wanted anything else… she offered me a selection of drinks.. so i had hot choc, and apple juice and there was 2 biscuits with them …
before i went 2 sleep i buzzed her so she could get me some pain killers, she brought me pain killers and muscle relaxants.
She went to sleep lovely, the next morning i was woken at 6am to check my blood pressure for the last time, and had my bandages cut off .. she left me alone with my new boobs so i could have a good look… they were amazing!!!
Then she came back in to put on my sports bra… i got partially washed, and dressed… and went to the pharmacy at 9am to pick up my medication.
The my taxi was waiting to take me to victoria bus station, where i met my dad… we had to wait two hours before we could get on our 12’o clock bus back to cardiff
Got back in cardiff at 15.15, and walked to the car, and drove home

Had to take the medication for 3days.

Im 6days post op, and they just seem to look bigger than the day1 post op

They are swollen, and my back seems to hurt more than my boobs, but maybe thats because im not use to the weight

Im going to see my nurse on wed, shes going to take the plasters off my scars, and remove any remaining stitches

Sleeping has been uncomfortable because i have 2 sleep on my back and propped up

Cant wait til the 8weeks are up and i can finally wear a lacy, underwired push up bra
Ive never been happier with my boobs, despite the pain…. and MYA have been fantastic, great service, looked after me very well
