    Morning,I had my BA 2 weeks ago and just trying sort out my 6 week check but I was wondering how many people went and what they do because it costs me alot to get there as MYA isnt close to me at all and I dont want it to be a wasted journey? Obvi if I become worried about anything ill go but right now I cant see why I need to?xxx

    I thought it was so your surgeon could check you over???

    its really important to go to your post opp appointments hun, i was told it may go against you if you have any problems in the future but choose not to go to your apps, at 6 weeks the nurse or surgeon (differs per clinic) will check your implants have dropped into the pocket and that your incisions are healing well, she will also decide weather you can wear bras or not, go to your app, they are very important xx

    im not having a 6 week check mine was at 4 to see nurse then 12 weeks to see surgeon and as nikki says i think it will alter the conditions of your after care if you dont go. its a pain in the butt, but worth it x
