Hi

I will be 6 weeks post op on Tuesday and my appointment with the nurse isn’t till the 10th August…. I’m just wondering if it is ok to start wearing normal bra’s straight away after 6 weeks or should I wait to see the nurse first…. Also when can we stop wearing bra’s for bed?

I’m a bit worried about just taking it off at 6 weeks incase I’m not meant to and something goes wrong…. Any help would be appreciated.

hi,luckyme,i was 6 week post op on thursday,and im not seeing nurse till 10 august,as well so i phoned my pc and she said i can start wearing a bra,at 6 week,i had unders,so never wore a bra for 6 week,what did you have?x

Hi Sammie… I had 460 overs… Might give my PC a ring on monday and ask her…. I’ll be 6 weeks on Tues…. Just worried as I don’t want to do anything that will ruin them lol…. I can’t wait to not have to wear a bra for bed…. it’s doing my head in lol. xx

Hi Sammie, im havin 260cc unders what do you mean you never wore a bra cause unders? do girls who have unders not have to wear a sports bra for 6 weeks x

hi,i think it depends who does your ba,i had mr traynor so no bra for 6 week,but i have seen on hear that some with unders do wear sport bras,so just ask to be sure.x
