I have told to be there at 9.30 but haven’t been told the time of the surgery. I am going on the 17th May. Hope its not to late I will be ready to eat my own arm otherwise not eating since midnight x

I’ve just checked out my hotel details that Mya booked and it’s 6 miles from the hospital with no parking, they only have an ncp 10 mins from hotel for £30 a day!! Not happy xx

I no its not MYA but its so feustratinf, u would have thought they would have it by now, im going to phone tomorow if i havnt got it im so impatient lol! Surley times should be available a lot earlier than what you have waited….especially if you have to travel….I have my op 15th may and if I haven’t heard by midweek il be chasing it up…..why don’t you ask the mya mod to get on to it.x

I spoke to my pc on tues i think n they wernt in yet, the trouble is it comes from the hosp not mya so theres not much mya mod can do….such a pain lol! I have to travel to highgate from bristol on thw same day so would like to no a time to plan but hey ho not much i can do :(xx

I rang mya earlier and my pc told me that on the computer they have my admission time as 10:30am x

My pc said it may change but if it does she’ll let me know, she said the list changes all the time depending on people’s needs (like someone might have diabetes etc) that’s what she said to me anyway. I’m a bit dissappointed actually I wanted to be there early like from 7:30am. Having an admission time of 10:30 prob means i wont go down til like 12 and then it will be a late journey home x

I got my time from nu clinic but will probably ring the hospital aswell to check. Good luck

Highgate is a great hospital, they really look after you well.

Aww thanks, thats great to hear…i just read in another post that a lady would never go back there cus ot was so bad so really good to hear ur feedback! when did u hav ur op and who with?xx

What?! I cannot fault it, staff were great, it was very clean, the food wasnt bad (recommend fruit and green and blacks icecream to settle your stomach )
