what ususally happens?? do they take your dressings off your scars?? i cant get in till the 15th od sept and had my op on the 2nd as nobody is in the notts clinic, i was asked to go to bham but its like 3n half hors away from where i live… would the nurse usually change dressings or just take them off?? mine are itching like mad and driving me bonkers.. any suggestions ?? xx

Maybe be reeeealy cheeky and make an app with your own dr or the nurse at your practice. That is what I’d do. Just lie and say you are in pain 😯 I do it all the time hahaha… is it an emergency erm yes, can you tell me what it is, erm no its private muahahahaha! xxx

I believe they change them and clean you up, but the extent of it differs from person to person. Im having staples so I assuming I may have some of them removed, I think some ladies have stitches trimmed etc. xxx

oooh maybe i should just see how long i can put up with the itching then, to be honest i think its the sticky tape thats doing my head in and making me itch.. and i just want a proper shower lol xxx

They take the dressings off, wash the incisions with saline solution and put steri strips on x

thats what i had to belle, can u buy the steri strips anywhere? as they help with the rubbing at work. im 19 days po so still healing. bet you cant wait to try lots of stuff keri?

I’d try and see someone at the gp surgery, it can’t be hygenic to wait so long. Or you could boil some water, mix in some salt, let it cool and wash them yourself. Wipe over with just water and put some steri strips on which you should be able to get at a chemist x

haha i cant wait to get measured i think i look a full d my boobs are already going soft and i ca get a cleavage in my sports bra without effort.. im in love.. hahaha just want this effin sticky itchy stuff off when can u have a shower a proper 1 xxx

You can shower with no soap when the dressings come off. What cc did you have and from what size? x
