Hello ladies,
Need some help, had my ba last friday and everything seemed to be ok until yesterday afternoon when I started to get pain in my left boob on the left side, feels like someone Is stabbing me with a sharp needle constantly and even more when I move, its really tender and hurts when I touch it.
Not ment to be seeing the nurse till tues and she rang yesterday morning before this started asking to change that appointment as she can’t get to notts.
Don’t know what to do?
Vicky xx
I’d give her a ring and see what she says. Better to be safe babe…
Just rang my pc she getting the nurse to ring me back asap xx
I’m sure it’s normal but it’s worth checking out x
hope u get it sorted soon dont worry hopefully something really simple..x
Hiya Vicky,
That’s a coincidence, I too am really tender all down the outer side and underneath my left breast with sharp pains when I move! I thought it was probably because they are softening and getting less numb so I’m feeling the nerves etc reconnecting more plus we have finished the strong painkillers and I am just taking one of the co-drydomol when needed so not as drugged up as I have been.
With it being both of us he may be a bit more heavy handed on one side lol
I”m really pleased with my recovery otherwise tho and can do loads more than I imagined I would be able to.
Did you say the nurse can’t come to Notts on Tuesday? I am booked in then too as wouldn’t go to Birmingham as Andy has been on 12hr nights since last Saturday and I wasn’t letting him stay up to drive me with no sleep.
She hasn’t rang me yet and to be honest I think that is pretty bad considering we booked and paid at Notts on the understanding our after care would also be there.
when has she made you an appointment for?
Hope she rings soon and reassures you, will keep an eye out for your post.
Take care
Marie x
Hey Marie, the nurse has just rang me and reassured me its nothing to worry about its just nerves and to keep taking the painkillers.
As for the appointment on tuesday its still on tuesday at 1 but its with another nurse so that’s good as don’t have to go birmingham now. To be honest I’m quite annoyed about the after care, they just don’t seem to be bothered but suppose if you had a problem you would ring them.
I am pleased with the way they look and how quickly I have recovered but like you said not on the strong painkillers anymore and the numbness is wearing off so feeling more pain!
Hope your feeling ok
Vicky xx
Hi Vicky,
Glad it’s all just normal…even if it hurts!! lol I thin we will feel a lot of twinges as everything reconnects in the next few weeks.
You just feel as tho you have gone slightly back as managed to leave my v pillow on my bed all day yesterday but had to get it back down today as the pain in left one hurt too much trying to lean up from normal cushions…and don’t they sting from inside?? strange!
Really chuffed with what I can do though, I have managed to wash my hair by myself three times since fri and t=this morning managed to dry and straighten it myself too (thought at first that’s what had set the pain off lol)
Agree with you on the after care, have only heard from the nurse on day 3 nothing from pc and no-one has rang to say about nurse change on tues. tho to be honest I am pleased it will be a different nurse as I don’t know why as she was nice enough but I didn’t feel at ease for some reason with Karen…probably just me tho lol.
Thanks for letting me know and hope the tablets ease it for you.
Take care
Marie xx
