    Hiya girls,

    Just wondering how long it took everyones bellies to return to normal? lol I was really bloated on the codeine but I’ve stopped taking that now and although I feel much better for it my belly is still a whole 3 inches bigger than before the op! Getting quite depressed about it now and thinking it might be actual weight gain :-( None of my clothes fit me and with big boobs and big belly I look pregnant. :-/

    mine started at around day 2 po an went away 7 day po! xx

    Think maybe I’ve got fluid retention going on, boo. Might try get some diuretic tablets see if that sorts it. Theres no way I can have gained 3 inches in a week!

    constipated? its a side effect from codeine / cocodamol. eat fibre foods and drink prune juice. if still constipated for like a week use laxatives. im a 3rd yr medical student- not just making this all up lol

    i wouldnt start taking anything unless ur nurse says its ok, its a normal reaction from ga, just do what ally says an drink prune juice, i mixed it with orange as i don like the taste i wouldnt start taking any pills lol

    I still looked like the hobbit at 7 days but it does go away (i was back to normal after about 2wks). I stressed the whole time thinking the BA had messed with my hormones and made me permanently fat lol x

    mine was like for a week and i was constipated really bad lol !!! was hating it cause my belly was bigger than my boobs :)yeah i would say a couple of weeks xxxx
