Just a bit of info about me pre op. was a 34c,needed an uplift after 2 kids as nature had taken its toll after breastfeeding. One boob was bigger and lower than other. When i asker surgeon what he would do to correct it his answer was i will put in same size implants and take away more breast tissue from bigger boob. All was well and i put my trust in him that he knew best. 8 months on and boobs have settled but im unhappy as my previous bigger boob has scar twice the size as other boob underneath and the bigger boob pre op is now bigger and saggier as before!! I dont know if i had unrealistic expectations but i had expected them to be roughly same size and atleast sit at same level!! My scarring is very sore still 8 months on,very red and lumpy on bigger boob where small boob has healed amzingly well. Any thoughts on my situation, what would u do if it was you or has anybody been in this situation? I have put off going back to see my surgeon as i feel terrible that im unhappy with them and also a bit embarrased as i had an idea of what my boobs would look like post op,and what they are isnt what i expected. Feel like iv wasted £6000. Iv tried not to moan as people said i shouldnt get boobs done in first place and now people can say i told you so but im getting to point where im thinking my boobs wont even out,8 months is long enough surely??xx

sorry to hear you are so unhappy with your results. i think you should definitely go and see your surgeon, hard as it may be as he may be for you as a good surgeon would recognise that he hasn’t got it right this time and try to rectify it for you. If he doesnt than get a second opionion as you have paid a lot of money and you shouldnt surely be having sore scars after 8mths. it may be that you need some of the scar tissue cut away.

Really hope it goes well but dont suffer in silence and get it sorted.

Hun I feel for you, you didn’t get the outcome you wanted. DO NOT feel embarrassed about this and don’t just let it go. You have paid a lot of money so you should have boobs you are happy with. You need to see your surgeon and be honest and open with him, you won’t be the first patient of his who hasn’t been totally happy – these things happen. I’ve added you so message me if you want to let me know how you get on xxx

Sorry to hear that you’re feeling like this and having some problems. I just had a BA 7 weeks ago not an uplift so I haven’t gone through this myself. I think your first step should be to see your surgeon and get them to take a look, as this is the only way you can start to get anything sorted. If you’re not happy I think you’ve got every right to tell them your concerns so they can address them so please don’t feel like you shouldn’t speak up. It sounds to me like you do have genuine concerns and you’ve left it 8 months so plenty of time for them to be mostly settled and healed. I know I have told my surgeon any concerns I had and I’ve felt better for it. Your surgeon might be able to tell you what’s going on and if there is still bad or very noticeable assymetry or something is not quite right a good surgeon would offer to try to correct it rather than fob you off. Once you’ve seen your surgeon you can take it from there; you might have more of an idea of what your options are or how to deal with it. Good luck, and I hope you get some answers. Xx
