Hiiii Girls… Hope everyone is well! Few questions that i keep googling but i may aswell put on here as i know you guys will give me some sane answers. First things first… im now 8DPO… im much better than i was, still sore.. very sore in a morning. But im getting movement bk slowly. I love them though… there already changing so much. I was wondering if im able to apply moisturiser to my chest/top & cleavage?? The skin is so tight. Also… does it hurt anyone else to yawn? Im still sleeping great but always waking up flat on my back and iv tried wverything. Also another thing… this may seem dead personal but i must ask as its a worry for me. Me and my partner have always had a very active sex life… obviously since my op there has been nothing, he hasnt said anything and when iv asked him he genuinely doesnt care & it really isnt an issue for him which is good…. but when is it safe to get bk to normal?? I honestly can’t bring myself to even think about it atm as im so scared hes gunna hurt me?? Xxx Inteally didnt know how to word that last bit properly so i hope you understand what i mean xxx

Hey Hun… yep no problem to moisturise, just avoid your incisions! Bio oil is great, and so is shea butter. I started to get super dry skin from it being so stretched and constantly in a bra, so I would recommend moisturising as much as possible to avoid that! I also went through a stage where it felt like really bad sunburn, aloe Vera gel was amazing for that – just in case you experience something similar! Try not to worry too much about waking up on your back, if you move when you sleep there’s not much you can do. Just make sure you have loads of pillows to support you. I also brought a bed back rest from Argos which helped loads, but even with that if wake up quite far down sometimes! I don’t think there’s a specific time frame of when sex is ok, i think it’s just literally when you feel up to it!! And when you do just be very careful of your new assets!! I saw a post on here ages ago where some girls had been discussing it, some said they were able after about a week. It took me aaaages – my poor boyfriend haha! Hope this helps xxx

Hey Hun glad to hear things are getting a little better for you. The nurse told me at my post op that I can put stuff on my skin as long as I’m well away from any incisions. And as for sex I’ve googled that (ha!) and it said anytime your ready on some sites and 1-2 weeks on others with a note to bear in mind that it’s cardio exercise.x

I applied stretch mark cream from about day 3 just avoiding the areas where the plasters are. My boyfriend and I went about a week, people vary with how they are feeling, might be worth a try but tell him he has to do everything and not go near them :’)

Thankyou so much for.gettimg bk to me girls i really appreciate it. Was scared of sounding stupid. Thinks its still a little early for me tbh. Dont think it would be enjoyable in the slightest as all id be thinking about is my boobs and them not hurting. I also googled it haha. Will just see how things go. Im bk at MYA on Monday so may just see what they say regarding the way there healing and take it from there. Something i am really craving atm is a glass of wine lol. I dont drink very often, probably once a month so maybe this harsh healing process is bringing me to drink lol. Xxx
