A Cup to 300cc HP – Sensitive nipples and pressure 8 days post op

So I’ve had my post op apt. Yesterday, the nurse said i was healing really well. But put me new dressings on for another 5 days because a little bit was still a bit raw.
Since then my nipples have started to really ache when touched and i can’t stand the bra and band on for more than 3 hours at a time. My swelling has also come back a bit although the breasts are slowly getting softer. Ive been spending some time without bra and band on for relief and then putting it back on.
I’m really happy with them so far and can’t wait for the drop and fluff.
Also my nipples seem to have expanded a bit, i know the skin is all streched and adjusting but has anyone else experienced this? And do they go back to normal? I dont dislike the nipples as they are now as they suit the boob size but i liked my small ones better 🙂

My nipples and top of my boobs went sore because they’re all dry, I can touch my boobs myself and it feel okay but if anyone else feels it it feels horrible and irritated! Maybe that’s what’s happening with your bra? And if it feels too tight get some ice packs, that really helped me relieve the swelling without taking my bra off xx

Thank you. I’ve washed around the top and nipples with a cloth and creamed. The skin feels better now. Haven’t tried ice packs yet but will do. I’ve also changed to a sports braw wich is softer material than the medical bra. Phew… can’t wait for it to be all healed.
