A little bit worried……

Okay girlies, my BA is in 12 days and Ive just had my pre op. Everything went fine apart from Im slightly worried as I wasnt aware that they write to your doctor and Ive heard some girls horror stories on here where there doctor had either nit allowed them to have a BA or not even wrote back to MYA.

I dont have any major health problems other than slight asthma but Im still panicking. Xxx

I am in the same boat had Pre op yesterday but they did blood tests coz I used to be anaemic sooo worried my op will get called off its in 10 days! Does your pc have anything to say on the matter? You should be fine if MYA are already aware you have asthma xx

u will be fine, not all gps are contacted. mine wasnt its up to me to let him know if i wish

I was convinced my ba wouldn’t go ahead due to my past medical history but I’m now 8 days post op I made an app to see my gp and discussed op with him and he assured me I would be fit. Mya got consent only 2 days before my op date but all went ahead smoothly.

Go and see your gp if u are worried. It’s only a fax letter saying u r fine for anaesthetic xx

hun i was soo worried 2 as i work in a nursing home and i convinced myself that i had mrsa!! but my op is 2moro wooohooo.. mya contacted my GP and he never contacted them back but i was told this is absolutely normal. try noy 2 worry xx

i had my pre op today got my ba on 4th april im dreading my doctors sayi no coz i had a mole removed of my breast last month and the hospital phoned me and said the biopsy results were normal but the doctor at the hospital has gone on holiday for 3 weeks and he wont be writing to my doctor til he gets back to let him no of the results so my gp doesnt no what the results are i just hope he doesnt say anything to mya im so worried abot it x

The nurse told me that they were only writing to the doctor to let them no that you are having a ba they didnt want to hear back from mine. I think maybe your gp would get back in touch if you had a health issue x
